Thai Oil Massage is a variant of Traditional Thai massage, uses firm pressure and deep rhythmic movements along meridian/energy lines of the body. Thai oil massage is about giving deep pressure, gliding, rolling and stretching movements using the palms, thumbs, elbows and knees in combination with the application of (warmed) base oils (not necessarily special oils or so-called essential oils). Thai Oil Massage utilizes the properties of specific oils to allow the therapist to glide over the body.
